A1 - First steps in Italian
The A1 course offers a structured introduction to the Italian language. You will learn to understand and use simple sentences, introduce yourself, ask and answer questions and provide basic information. The aim is to find your way around the language in everyday life - when shopping, on public transport, in contact with the authorities or at work. Listening and reading comprehension is also specifically developed.
A2 - Expansion of basic knowledge
The A2 course is aimed at learners with some previous knowledge. You will expand your vocabulary and learn to talk about familiar topics such as family, work, leisure and health. You will understand simple texts and practise writing short messages. In the grammar section, you will consolidate important structures such as tenses, modal verbs and subordinate clauses. The aim is to be able to deal with everyday situations actively and confidently.
B1 - Communicate independently
In the B1 course, you will learn to express yourself clearly and coherently in everyday situations. You will discuss familiar topics such as travelling, work, education or society and practise writing structured texts. Reading and listening comprehension is specifically promoted. You will consolidate grammatical structures such as relative clauses, the second subjunctive and the passive voice. The aim is to become more linguistically confident and to be able to communicate independently in Italian-speaking countries.
B2 - Precise and nuanced expression
The B2 course deepens your language skills at an advanced level. You will learn to understand complex texts and express yourself in a differentiated way on current topics. In oral expression, the focus is on argumentation and exchanging opinions. You will expand your vocabulary in a targeted manner and review key grammar topics such as connectors, verb forms and sentence structures. The aim is to achieve fluent and situation-appropriate communication at work and in everyday life.
C1 - Confident handling of complex content
In the C1 course, you will perfect your language skills for university, work and high-level communication. You will learn to understand demanding texts, express yourself in a differentiated way and react flexibly to different situations. The focus will be on means of expression, argumentation and stylistically confident writing. In terms of grammar, complex structures such as nominalisations, the first subjunctive and conjunctions of sentences will be deepened.
C2 - Almost native speaker level
The C2 course is aimed at advanced learners who want to consolidate their knowledge of Italian at the highest level. You will work on linguistic finesse, stylistic precision and fluent expression. The aim is to fully understand and independently produce spoken and written language in complex, even abstract contexts - at a level very close to that of native speaker communication.

No. We offer courses for all levels, from A1 to C2. Before the course starts, we carry out a short placement test to find the right level for you.
For private courses, lessons can be postponed free of charge up to 24 hours in advance. In group courses, we can summarise missed content on request.
We work with up-to-date teaching materials that are tailored to the respective level. The course material is included in the price and is provided at the start of the course.
